With a meeting on March 3, 2020 in Olsztyn, the Ministry of Health began a series of voivodship conferences aimed at promoting knowledge about health needs maps. The event was attended by representatives of the provincial and marshal’s office, the Warmian-Masurian branch of the National Health Fund and the largest health services providers in the region, as well as provincial consultants in health care and representatives of the medical and academic community.
During the meeting, the scope of analyzes contained in the maps was discussed. In addition, representatives of the Department of Analyzes and Strategy of the Ministry of Health presented the assumptions of the new edition of documents evolving towards an electronic tool with a written summary. Comments of the meeting participants were noted and will be considered in the course of further work.
Further conferences were held in Gdańsk, Toruń and Opole. Due to the spread of coronavirus, the cycle has been suspended. Resumption is planned as soon as the epidemic threat has passed.
